These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of maxustechnology.com (the “Site”), operated by Maxus Technology (“Maxus”, “we”, “us”). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful business and informational purposes. You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, introducing malicious code, scraping it at a volume that burdens our systems, or using it to send unsolicited or misleading communications.
2. Information, not advice
The content on the Site, including articles in our Insights section, is provided for general information. It is not legal, tax, employment-law or financial advice. Requirements for hiring, payroll and compliance vary by state and circumstance, so please consult a qualified adviser before acting on anything you read here.
3. Our services
Descriptions of recruitment, staffing, payroll support, web design and digital marketing on the Site are summaries only. The scope, fees and terms of any engagement are set out in a separate written agreement between you and Maxus. Nothing on the Site is an offer capable of acceptance, and we do not guarantee any particular hiring, ranking, traffic or revenue outcome.
4. Intellectual property
The Site’s text, graphics, logos, design and code are owned by Maxus or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may view and print pages for your own internal business use. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the Site without our written permission. “Maxus” and the Maxus logo are trademarks of Maxus Technology.
5. Information you submit
When you send us information through the Site, you confirm that it is accurate and that you have the right to share it. We will handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us without obligation to you.
6. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. A link does not mean we endorse the site.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maxus disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maxus and its officers, employees and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100).
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maxus from any claim, loss or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the Site.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Howard County, Maryland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to these terms or the Site.
11. Changes
We may revise these terms at any time by posting the updated version on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
